I am the creative behind this brand.

It all started in 2016 when my mom in law gave me a gorgeous wool suit she thrifted + challenged me to make something from it. That was when I made my first jacket for our youngest. The designs you see now have all been modified over time to what they are today + all consist, for the most part, of upcycled material.

I thrift shop almost weekly (which is very close to my favorite part of the process!) + dream up the designs. I carefully take the thrifted garments apart, lay out the material, hand cut the patterns + sew the products you see in our shop. My Mom sews all the drawstring bags that your boots arrive in, which are also made from thrifted material. And my sister Amy is the creative behind the camera.

Our jackets are one of a kind pieces made from preloved suits or coats. Our boots are typically 1-10 + also made from preloved suits, garments, linens or remnant fabrics.

As a momma of five, I know how fast our kids grow so creating premium quality garments that can not only be worn by our littles longer but can then be be passed down  — that is the passion behind Oaks & Sparrow Co.
